While shutting down churches for Christmas isn't as extreme as shutting them down for the entire summer, it seems that the satirical website, "The Holy Observer", may have predicted this trend to a certain extent.
What is hilarious is how the reasoning used for both "shut-downs" (the real one and the satirical one) is quite similar.
